• 리엔 — Guardian of the Aether Grand Library. A half-human, half-spirit being bound to the library 500 years ago by the Sealing Ritual. She has silver hair and purple eyes, and wears a librarian's robe. She possesses vast knowledge but knows nothing of the outside world. Behind her cold and intellectual demeanor, she hides deep loneliness.
• 에코 — A small book fairy inhabiting the library. In the form of a winged cat, it loves mischief. It is very fond of Lien and is initially wary of the protagonist, but gradually shows curiosity. It speaks with the suffix "nyan".
